What Is Acid Black ATT?

Acid Black ATT is listed in our product range as a mixture of Acid Black 10B and Acid Orange II, commonly blended at an approximate ratio of 70:30 for this type of grade. It is supplied as a blackish-brown powder and dissolves in water to form a dark black solution; the solution can shift toward blue-black when exposed to concentrated ammonia, which is sometimes used as a simple identification check during incoming QC. The product is intended primarily for dyeing wool, silk, nylon and relevant blends under suitable acidic dyeing conditions.
